Allison L. Ellis, DMD, MS
Meet Dr. Ellis
Dr. Allison Ellis started her education here in Connecticut. She graduated from Trinity College, Hartford, with honors in Biochemistry and a publication in the Journal of Organometallic Chemistry. She spent a year in New York working as a research technician at Mount Sinai in the Neurobiology lab, furthering her love of science and New York. Dental school brought her to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania. There, she earned her Doctorate, graduated with honors in Clinical Dentistry, and realized her love of Orthodontics. She followed her love of Orthodontics and New York back to Manhattan to attend Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. There she completed her speciality training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and earned a Master’s degree.
Dr. Ellis is an active member of her alumni associations, the American Association of Orthodontists and the New England Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Ellis is consistently voted a “Top Doctor” by her peers in Connecticut Magazine. Dr. Ellis’ professional interests include clear aligner therapy, lingual braces, expansion, orthographic surgery, and airway-conscious orthodontics. She is experienced in comprehensive orthodontics for older adults as well as children with special needs.
Outside of the office, you will find Dr. Ellis with her husband and three girls. They love spending time at Tod’s point, afternoons in Manhattan, and skiing in the winter.
